At this time 11 years ago, a not quite 20 year old me had received the news that my dad had passed away. I don't want a bunch of sympathy comments, but I do want to encourage everyone who reads this to hug their Dad (or any of your loved ones, really), tell them you love them, and appreciate that you can still hold them in your arms.
We take so much for granted, don't we?
